Here at Broadgate Spine & Joint Clinic, we are keen to educate our patients and visitors to the website about problems in the spine and other joints and muscles to help you to gain a deeper understanding of your conditions and the types of treatment you can expect to receive.
We believe that informing our patients will help them to make more appropriate choices and learn about preventative measures that can help their health and the steps they can take to enhance their treatment.
Starting this week, we will be publishing a series of informative blogs with the aim to produce two blog posts a week. Each one will focus on a specific subject related to parts of the body and issues such as back pain, spine problems and neck ache.
The team at the Broadgate Spine & Joint Clinic is one of the largest and most diverse in London. This allows us to offer a wide range of services that allows customers to choose the specific type of care they wish to proceed with.
It has been proven that offering excellent patient choice leads to better clinical results and the variety of health disciplines at our clinic allows each individual practitioner to refer their patients to a specialist who can provide more appropriate care or a second opinion.
Our blogs will begin by looking closely at the spinal column, which includes the neck (cervical spine), the mid-back (thoracic spine) and the lower back (lumbar spine). The articles will be written by a wide variety of health professionals, including chiropractors, physiotherapists, surgeons, rheumatologists, osteopaths and medical acupuncturists.
If you would like to see a blog on a particular condition, body area or topic that we have not covered, contact us to let us know and we will strive to publish it as soon as possible.
All of the information in our blogs will all be in accordance with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence, (NICE), The Cochrane Collaboration and other international guidelines. If you would like more in-depth information about medical issues, you can click on the hyperlinks above or send questions to the authors.
We look forward to publishing our first blogs and seeing the response from our patients and readers. If you have any comments or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
